Loan Modification
Our firm can assist you in modifying your existing home or real estate loan. Loan modifications may be required by law, or lenders may voluntarily modify a loan to prevent a foreclosure. Foreclosures are not good for you and are not good for the lenders.
Process
We will assist you in contacting your lender to negotiate a loan modification. If an agreement is reached, we will assist in obtaining the written loan modification. However, there is no guarantee that your loan can be modified.
If voluntary negotiation does not work, our firm can offer you other alternatives, e.g., filing for bankruptcy relief.
Information Needed
- Your loan documents
- Written authorization to allow our firm to negotiate on your behalf
- Tax returns
- Income/wage statements
- Written fee agreement with our firm
Cost
We charge for the time we spend at our hourly rate, with a minimum retainer deposited into our trust account.
