Business Attorney…Who Means Business
Our firm has competitive rates. All of the attorneys’ fees that you will be charged will be set forth in written agreement prior to you retaining our firm. A summary of our fee policies for each chapter are set forth below:
Chapter 7: We charge a flat fee that must be paid prior to the filing. We do make payment plans and can help obtain waiver of the filing fees or spread the filing fees over four structured payments after filing. Call for a quote based on your case.
Chapter 13: We follow the guidelines set forth in the district where we have filed. For example, in Oakland, a consumer Chapter 13 Bankruptcy costs $4800 ($6000 for a business case) plus other add-ons if applicable, over the life of the plan. The upfront fees are limited by local rules and we work with our clients to make sure that they can afford the case.
Chapter 11: We bill Chapter 11 bankruptcies on an hourly basis due to the complex nature of this type of bankruptcy and how we tailor it to each individual client. We require a retainer that is negotiated with you prior to filing. We strive to work with our clients to make sure that our fees are able to be paid so that fees don’t get in the way of a successful resolution of your bankruptcy case.
